About 62.3 percent of the 838 degrees and certificates handed out by the Florida Institute of Technology-Online in 2017-18 were to students in business, management, marketing, and related support services programs, making them the most popular programs that year, according to the latest disclosure from the U.S. Department of Education.

The agency’s National Center for Education Statistics shows the private not-for-profit institution in Melbourne conferred 383 master’s degrees and 101 bachelor’s degrees in business, management, marketing, and related support services programs.

But the single most popular program was for a master’s degree in general management information systems. Data shows the school gave out 132 master’s degrees in general management information systems, followed by 67 master’s degrees in general business administration and management and 66 bachelor’s degrees in applied psychology.

The institute enrolled 2,310 students for 2017-18, including 1,474 in undergraduate programs and 836 in graduate programs.
