The Florida Institute of Technology-Online enrolls 1,474 undergrads

At the Florida Institute of Technology-Online, 81 percent of undergraduate students are nontraditional students - age 25 or older - and 58 percent are female, according to the latest disclosure from the U.S. Department of Education.

The four-year private not-for-profit institution in Melbourne enrolled 2,310 students in fall 2018, including 1,474 in undergraduate and 836 in graduate programs, data shows. 16.1 percent of undergraduates transferred from another college or university.

The undergraduate student body is comprised mostly of students who identify as white (55 percent) and Black or African American (20 percent).
