Florida Polytechnic University employee Andrew Haskell donates $169 to Andrew Yang's campaign

Andrew Haskell, an employee at Florida Polytechnic University, donated $169 to Democratic Party candidate Andrew Yang, according to the Federal Election Commission.

According to records, there have been $653 in campaign contributions made by individuals affiliated with Florida Polytechnic University as of November 3. All of these contributions were made to Democratic Party candidates and committees.

Andrew Haskell's contribution of $484 to Democratic Party Andrew Yang was the largest contribution made by someone affiliated with Florida Polytechnic University since January 1, 2019.

According to an Inside Higher Ed analysis of federal elections data, individuals that were affiliated with colleges and universities have donated five times more money to Joe Biden than to President Trump. A study by Pew Research in 2017 found that 58 percent of Republicans and Republican-leaning independents thought colleges and universities have a negative impact on the way things are going in this country.
