Brevard County ranked 21st in Florida for resident earnings in 2018

Brevard County ranked 21st among counties in Florida by annual earnings per resident, according to data obtained from the U.S. Census Bureau.

The median income of Brevard County residents was $27,222 per year, adjusted for inflation. It had 228,888 households with a population of 576,808.

The county with the highest median resident income in the state was St. Johns County with $35,191 per year after adjusting for inflation – $7,969 more than Brevard County. It had 86,268 households with a population of 235,503.

The county with the lowest median resident income in the state was Hamilton County with $19,349 per year after adjusting for inflation – $7,873 less than Brevard County. It had 4,485 households with a population of 14,269.
