Census Bureau: More women than men in Melbourne in 2020

Of the 82,281 people living in Melbourne in 2020, 51.1 percent (42,031) were women and 48.9 percent (40,250) were men, according to U.S. Census Bureau data obtained by the Brevard Sun.

Males 18 and over outnumbered females in the same age group by 632. In the 65 and over age range, there were 9,931 females and 7,251 males.
