Of the 5,966 people living in Cocoa West in 2020, 46.1 percent (2,753) were women and 53.9 percent (3,213) were men, according to U.S. Census Bureau data obtained by the Brevard Sun.

Males 18 and over outnumbered females in the same age group by 223. In the 65 and over age range, there were 507 females and 500 males.
