In a recent development, Congressman Bill Posey (R-Rockledge) has thrown his weight behind the passing of the Laken Riley Act, a legislative move aimed at addressing issues related to criminal illegal aliens and enhancing states' enforcement of immigration laws. He further highlighted the key provisions of the legislation, noting, "This legislation requires criminal illegal aliens to be detained and taken into custody and allows for states to sue the Department of Homeland Security and force it to do its job when it fails to act."
