City of Palm Bay issued the following announcement.
Please join Palm Bay Mayor William Capote on Saturday, February 22nd, at 6pm at the Hilton Rialto for the 2020 Mayor's Ball supporting the Palm Bay Firefighters Community Benevolent. The Mardi Gras themed masquerade event will feature a fabulous 'Fat Tuesday' raffle, entertainment, the annual Community Leadership Award presentation, and more! Guests are asked to dress to impress and encouraged to wear a Mardi Gras mask.

The Palm Bay Firefighters Community Benevolent, a 501(c)(3) organization, was founded in 2011 to support firefighters and their families, as well as the general Palm Bay community. The Benevolent participates in many local events and assists numerous organizations with the donations they receive. Through events like the Ladder Climb, fundraising efforts like the annual Breast Cancer Awareness t-shirt sale, the Jeffery Allan Burgin Scholarship and more, the Palm Bay Firefighter's Community Benevolent is dedicated to giving back.
